Description
General
The Purified 4 is a modular loudspeaker system designed to be driven active with your own crossover and amplifiers, or our Plug & Play solution. The internal aluminum enclosure reduces unwanted resonances to a minimum while the external spherical shape ensures the most uniform radiation pattern. As a result you get an exceptionally linear frequency response with razor-sharp imaging within a large soundstage. The smoothness and lucidity of the sound are phenomenal. Furthermore, the ultra low distortion drivers deliver an uncompressed, big and organic sound. The Purified 4 is designed to be used as a satellite in a high-performance, full-range active sub-sat system.

Driver variants
Available with a Purifi 4-inch Aluminum or Fiber Paper Mix woofer and BlieSMa 25 mm Aluminum-Magnesium or Beryllium tweeter. These state of the art drivers have a very low non-linear distortion while able to produce high SPL and excellent dynamics.
Crossover
For each variant a measurement data set and reference crossover design (DSP parameters) are included in the delivery. The crossover design is fine tuned to deliver you the best tonality. The smooth directivity supports a very effective room correction or EQ if needed.
Finishes
As a surface finish of the top unit you have a hardwood or a high quality black plastic cover to choose from.
Optional Plug & Play Solution
If you do not wish to configure a DSP crossover then our DSP Integrated Amplifier with pre-installed DSP profile is a solution for you.

Solid wood or plastic cover on top of aluminium enclosure
Your Purified 4 will have its own distinctive appearance as each solid wood panel is unique. During the manufacturing process, we match enclosure pairs, to ensure each pair has a similar look. However, no pair will look exactly the same. We like you to be aware of this before buying.
Solid wood is a living material that will change over time. Because of variation in humidity and temperature the wood will expand and contract. Hairline cracks are typical for solid wood and to be expected. The Purified 4 is carefully constructed to avoid breakage as the wood ages. Several pieces of cork-rubber are placed between the aluminium cylinder and the solid wood to absorb any expansion or contraction.
If a fancy look has no priority with you, we do offer a high quality thermoplastic black finish too, it is more budget friendly without compromising on performance!
Internally, the top unit of the Purified 4 is made out of aluminum, in order to increase the stiffness and strength of the enclosure. The end result is an acoustically inert enclosure which ensures that all you hear is the sound of the exceptional PURIFI driver.

Crossover
Each variant will be delivered with a reference crossover design optimized for the best tonal balance.
You can transfer the crossover parameters, like slope, gain, delay and so on, to your DSP for a quick start. And together with the measurement data set you are able simulate (with for example VituixCAD) and customize the crossover to your specific goals.
